Week 3-The Gathering

This week I've gotten involved with more people than just myself. Last week, I had counted 17 t-shirts but said I was going to collect more. This week I have made significant growth, well I shouldn't keep all the credit. This week, I have a total of 32 t-shirts and I'm planning for more. I almost doubled the amount of t-shirts I had from the help of my friends and family. I asked my brothers for any shirts that weren't needed anymore and friends for shirts. I received 10 t-shirts in total from my brothers and 5 t-shirts from my friends and expecting more. I told my parents to ask their friends for any t-shirts from their kids, but haven't received anything yet. After gathering a sufficient amount of t-shirts, I plan to gather shoes that are just taking up space. I'm excited but sad for getting rid of my shoes because I know I have a good amount of shoes that I have in my closet that will bring back memories of my childhood and will probably just keep a pair or two. This week I was glad that I got donations from friends and family and hope I get more. I'd like to tell everyone that this project isn't an individual project I depend on the donations from others, so please just donate, It doesn't have to be to me, to a charity or people you know who need it more than you.

Week 2-The Counting

This week, I'm still brainstorming on parts of my 20% project but I've started to make progress. I've started to count some of the clothes i have, but haven't finished. So far, I've just counted the amount of t-shirts I'm willing to give away. So far, i just have 17 t-shirts that don't fit and are in good condition to be reused again. I find that 17 t-shirts is a good amount to start off with. Even though people may say it is a small amount, I know I haven't finished counting. I'm pretty sure that I haven't found all the t-shirts that I used to wear and I'm pretty sure that my brothers have t-shirts that don't fit anymore. I'm looking forward to the amount of t-shirts that I will uncover. I think i will be happy with the outcome of my project because I think I will have a ton of clothes for the less fortunate. As I'm going back and remembering the clothing that I plan to donate, I get sad because they bring back so much memories, but I know they're going to a good cause. Specifically, I was debating with myself If I should or shouldn't donate this old Angels t-shirt of mine. What do you guys think, should I donate it or keep it to myself.
